How we work

This work is relational, consent-based, and paced. We make room for identity, body, safety, history, culture, relationships, and systems, because gender never exists in a vacuum. Some sessions focus on careful conversation and meaning-making. Others include experiential or somatic noticing, especially when anxiety, shutdown, or hypervigilance has been shaping what feels possible. We can also work creatively when that fits, because sometimes the most honest truth arrives through images, metaphor, movement, or small experiments rather than through debate.

We also hold practicality with care. If you are preparing for healthcare appointments, navigating referrals, considering disclosure at work, or trying to make decisions about timing, we can help you think it through in a way that protects your nervous system and your relationships. If documentation is requested as part of a pathway to HRT or surgery, we approach that process openly and collaboratively, with clear explanation of what is needed, what is not needed, and what you can expect.
