Mentorship

Care for the Caregivers, Support for the Space-Holders

This embodied work can be isolating, and yet, you don’t have to do it alone. Clayre Sessoms, RP, CCC, ATR-BC and Laura Hoge, RSW offer a grounded approach to mentorship for therapists, carers, and facilitators who want to deepen their capacity to connect, expand their lens, and stay rooted in integrity as they hold space for others.

For Those Who Hold Others

Rooted Care for the Work Ahead

These offerings are for the ones holding space—therapists, helping professionals, educators, and community organizers—who are navigating the emotional and ethical weight of their work with care, courage, and complexity. Whether you're building a trauma-informed practice, confronting systems of harm, or simply trying to stay connected to your own integrity, this is a space to be supported, witnessed, and resourced. We meet you as peers, not as hierarchies. This is slow, purposeful support that's accessible.

You might be here because you’re craving:

  • Mentorship that honours your lived experience and values, not just your credentials or your need for clinical hours
  • A reflective space to understand your capcity, stuckness, or the toll of doing work that often asks too much or doesn't make room for us
  • Support as you shape a sustainable, expressive, decolonizing, and justice-aligned practice of showing up, again and again
  • Co-creation and collaboration rooted in integrity, relationship, embodiment, and a desire to build something meaningful together
Mentorship isn’t mastery, it’s staying human together.

PEER CONSULTATION

A Reflective Space for Inquiry

Our peer consultations offer a place to think, feel, and make meaning together. They’re collaborative, non-hierarchical spaces for therapists, helpers, and healing professionals who want to stay connected to their values while navigating complex work. We often provide peer consultation for Sensorimotor Psychotherapy learners and practitioners and Trauma Informed Stabilization Treatment navigating parts-based work.

Additionally, as a board certified art therapist, Clayre Sessoms, RP, CCC, ATR-BC provides art therapy consultations for art therapists. Laura Hoge, RSW provides peer consultations for yoga and grief work.

You might bring a feeling of being at an impasse, a question of identity, or a moment that lingers. We slow the process down, attune to what’s emerging in the body, and listen for what’s being asked of you as a practitioner. Reflection deepens, and insight unfolds not through expertise, but through shared presence.

CLINICAL SUPERVISION

Where Practice Meets Presence

Here at our embodied therapy practice, supervision isn’t a checkbox. It’s a relational process that nurtures your growth, discernment, and felt sense of integrity. These one-to-one sessions offer a grounded space to reflect on your decolonizing work, deepen ethical understanding, and cultivate trust in your own instincts.

We approach supervision as collaborative inquiry: exploring your own felt sense as we tend to the body’s knowing, and understanding your practice within systems of power and care. Together, we work toward supervision that feels alive, anchored in social justice, transparency, and care for both therapist and client.

MENTORSHIP

For the Work Within the Work

Mentorship is an open, conversational space for those doing care work in its many forms—therapists, healthcare workers, caregivers, educators, facilitators, yoga teachers, and creative artists. It’s less about meeting standards and more about finding your ground, your pace, and your way of being in the work.

These sessions are collaborative explorations of meaning and sustainability: what calls you, what drains you, what keeps you connected to purpose. We move fluidly between reflection and action, sometimes shaping a new offering, writing project, or practice rhythm. We're guided by curiosity, not curriculum.

Approach

  • Relational, experiential and creative, rooted in conversation, somatic awareness, and reflection

Format

Virtual one-to-one sessions for those seeking companionship in their tending work and growth

Fees

50- or 80-minute sessions at standard mentorship rates

Mentorship is where we remember we're human, too.
